★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful staff. Excellent guitar shop with decent reasonably priced selection. They also have their own line of acoustic guitars (Galaxy) that sound great once you get into the $5K range. As for electric guitars, they have packages (guitar + amp + pedals) wherein you can expect to pay 10% less (-2% if you pay cash). Brands include Fender (I saw strats, teles, jazzmasters, and squiers), Gibson (Les Pauls and epiphones), Ibanez (lots), and lots of Corts (Korean?) ESPs, etc. They do let you plug in and give the guitars a try.
EDIT: Thanks to Eile for enduring all my questions. Bought a multi-effects processor and a butterscotch blonde telecaster that just screams. And they threw in a strap, cable, picks, and a bag for free!
