Large selection of games, clean interior. Drinks and alcohol available. A tad pricey compared to one near ShiDa. Membership is available if you play board games often.

From Singapore here. Came here twice on rainy nights in Taipei. The place is cosy, and it offers a good selection of games. I played K2, Elysium and Epic while I was there. They put great effort to shrink wrap all their boxes and sleeve all their cards so the condition of the games are top notch. The staff was friendly, and she took the effort to suggest games and teach us how to play. If your Mandarin is not strong, you might find it difficult to play here though, since they have mostly Mandarin editions of the games. For example, Elysium, which they did not have a Mandarin version of, had translations printed out and included in the sleeves.

I bought a game for 880 TWD and wanted to play it there, but was asked to pay 200 TWD to reserve a table for two at a nearly empty shop. The cost would be acceptable if I was trying out a game from their personal collection but I wasn't. Why not offer either a discount or a free table as a sign of good customer service?
