★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a city bike from the MRT station and rode around Gangshan on Sunday Afternoon. Stopped at the Public Library and the Buddhist Temple by the Park. Very pretty area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gangshan was also a main military troop base back in Japan period, as well as the later one KMT period. The park has been designed as the Japanese style based on historical reason and its cultural atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I passed by the park when it open a lantern festival. Public space in Taiwan is the best. Hoping in the next few months, there will be heavy rain to fill up all the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of people riding their scooters illegally through the park. People smoking cigarettes near the children's play area. Not a safe place to bring kids. Seems more like China than Taiwan. Very disappointing.
