開胃的手作起司麵包與奶油，彷彿回到歐洲、二道旗魚龍眼木煙燻，感官體驗口鼻豐富、三道濃醇番茄湯佐初鹿鮮奶泡，口感成熟而不帶腥味非常好喝、四道台南黃牛小排堅韌口感配上師傅的醬料完美搭配、五道泥煤炭燒Panna Cotta甜點也是驚喜的口感！
非常成功的一場饗宴，希望師傅再接再厲。回到台東定會再訪！

Appetizing hand-made cheese bread and cream, as if returning to Europe, two courses of swordfish and longan wood smoke, rich sensory experience, three courses of rich tomato soup with fresh milk foam of Chulu, the taste is mature and not very fishy Delicious, four-course Tainan beef short ribs with tough taste and the chef's sauce are perfectly matched, and five-course peat-fired Panna Cotta dessert is also a pleasant surprise!
A very successful feast, I hope the master will make persistent efforts. Will definitely visit again when I come back to Taitung!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience and a very walm welcome from GDF where the bosses made you feel comfortable while they were not yet opened. They prepared seafood pasta and red wine stewed bourguignon beef marvelously when the restaurant was closed on a weekday. They made our experience in Taitung amazing and we'll definitely be back for our next visit!

Arriving at the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, the owners explained they were closed for the night, reworking on their menu for the next season. After a quick glance at each other and an approving nod, they decided to invite us in anyway.
They prepared us what they were working on, shared the open bottle of wine they were drinking. The food was delicious, the hospitality even better, we had to fight a bit to pay for the meal as 'it wasn't ready yet'.
I can't wait to return to this restaurant and see what ready means?.
