Golden Hill Lookout

The viewing platform is located on the Wushan ridge and has a good view. It also happens to be the dividing line of Kaohsiung in Tainan.

I like to come here. I like sports and mountain food. There are vegetarian and local chicken cities nearby. This is the relay station of Wushan vertical walking to supply food for lunch and rest. I like edge coffee and enjoy the scenery while drinking coffee.

The hinterland is vast and you can see Kaohsiung from a distance. But the weather is bad today. Pity. Coffee and hot food are sold next to the holiday.

Jinguangshan Observatory was formerly called "Zhuzijian" and is located on the top of the mountain behind the Zizhu Temple of Houde. We walk up the mountain from the direction of Fude Temple of Fortune, and will pass by a quiet and distinctive restaurant first. It is called "Yuan Ming Yuan", and you will reach the Temple of Wealth in a second time. The road up the mountain is a bit steep. Old people and children with poor foot strength must consider before going. Before reaching the observation deck, there is a small-scale street vendor selling coffee, drinks and snacks. The boss is very kind and can sit down and have a snack if not in a hurry. The view from the observation platform is very good. You can see Nanhua Reservoir to the north and Kaohsiung Xingda Port to the south. This is the highest point, you can choose to go back down the mountain to the original road, or continue to go forward, the exit is next to the wishing pond of Houde Zizhu Temple. The whole distance is not long, but the mountain roads in some sections are a bit steep. Furthermore, if it rains, it is not recommended to go down the mountain road next to the Zizhu Temple, because this road is dense with trees and the stairs are steep and slippery.

It is located just on the ridgeline at the junction of Tainan City and Kaohsiung City, with a wide view and a magnificent scenery. The Jingmian Reservoir is close to the northwest. When the weather is good, you can also overlook the Nanhua Reservoir in the northeast.
