★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to be a regular, but stopped coming for a while as it's neither on my way to my son's school nor work.
The auntie who works here is very nice, however... the grannie who works here clearly has some uneasiness around foreigners (maybe it's just the atmosphere amid SARS-COV2??) She slammed the food down on the table as if she couldn't get away from me fast enough, the sandwich not complete (previously I always got both halves of the sandwich...), the sandwich bread is not toasted like it usually would be, and she only spoke enough to say the price and nothing else.
The auntie here is very warm, so I'm sad to see how the grannie behaves so differently towards me compared to how she behaves with the other - Taiwanese - customers. I used only Chinese and didn't ask for any extras or modifications. Next time, I'll only stop if the grannie isn't the one working. I'll only come when the nice aunty is here!
