★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it's just very obvious that the hotel gets no star at all. I don't understand why they charged NT2400+per night and I didn't get to have our breakfast because our complimentary shampoo in that BIG bathroom had been changed to a bottle of 'water' before we checked in...why?! And of course the long and poor front desk service got my cold even worse and I had a bad migraine the next day....how am I supposed to leave my room with a migraine for my NT200 worth (or more?!) breakfast???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New hotel in miaoli, toufen. Rooms are huge, beds are comfortable and free breakfast included. Surrounding it are a kids amusement park and a factory outlet mall that comes with a cinema. There is also a small, weekend only night market. Quiet and laid back, shops mostly opens during brunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given this place more stars, but I was there on an overnight trip for a wedding and was moving an unnecessarily heavy table in the room to make it safer for my toddler when a loose sheet of heavy tempered glass in the table fell on my foot and cut my toe, making this the first hotel I've ever been in where I was injured while staying in the room. The underground parking lot is attached to a fairly big shopping mall, and the hotel also hosts weddings in ballrooms on the 4th floor (a slightly odd choice of floor numbers considering the Chinese language's traditional aversion to the number 4 in buildings, but hey).

Bathroom was not clean enough like pics I took.
As a 5-star hotel, the standard of morning breakfast is not even close to what it should be.
Already show this condition to their receptionist. Hope to see the improvement in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One is impressed by the excessive space that is rather rare at other resorts in Taiwan. Two-king-bed rooms are normal standard in hotel. Not so nice in some details. Carpet is not so clean. Strong odor in parking basement can even be smelled on ground floor in front of elevator. Though, the hotel together with the adjacent shopping mall and fun park does offer a great alternative to other resorts that are usually filled with overwhelming crowd. Especially those living in Hsinchu who are familiar with the endless queues to shopping facilities would value the wide space and easy reachability of everything. This is not a bad choice to run away from cities on weekends and holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my 8 year old daughter loved the attached play area/ small mall with bouncy castle and merry~go~round. . spacious room and nice bathtub. smoked salmon salad for breakfast and above average latte for hotel buffet. price probably a little bit high for what you get. smoke from neighbors wasn't wonderful. no floss provided. staff brought up our ubereats which I appreciated.
