Has toilets, shops to by water
Riding in a/n:
northerly direction ..... Danshui or to Jinshan up over YangMin Shan
easterly direction ..... go over the GuanDu Bridge to Bali or LuZhuo, this will take you to the
YingGe pottery area.
Southerly direction ..... NanGang, the Taipei Zoo, BiTan
There are about 250 km of riverside park bike riding space available as of writing this.
Saturdays and Sundays are for everybody and his dog so if you are a serious cyclist, it is best to ride early morning on these days or late at night, after 11. I have ridden all of these and general only go at night or early morning for this reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The easily recognizable bright red Guandu Bridge (關渡大橋) is a 165 m long steel through-type arch bridge erected in 1983 and carries what is now Provincial Highway 15 . It spans the Danshui River and links Bali and Danshui.
Heavy traffic during rush hour morning traffic and especially during weekends, a bottleneck for visitors heading to Danshui.
While the bridge has bike-lanes, it has no designated motorcycle lanes - crossing it on a scooter can be a slightly scary experience.
