★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About an hour and a half drive from Taoyuan airport (no traffic). First impressions are:
plenty of space, light and accommodations.
They provide an electric kettle for boiling water which came in pretty handy at times. No windows but there is a locked door with natural light seeping through (although you won't be able to tell what the weather is like outside)
Was quite surprised to see a urinal and bidet.
If you do run out of daily necessities, a quick Line text to their Butler chat will prompt a speedy reply.
The staff is friendly and on point with COVID protocols. They even hold conversations if/when you get lonely.
Food was mediocre but honestly can't complain (they provide fruit every so often which is a treat)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service! Staff is very friendly and attentive. The corner room is large. Music from next door can be heard quite loud on weekends. Maybe take rooms on higher levels would solved this concern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say? I was lucky to have chosen this hotel for my quarantine in Taichung. My room was spacious and clean, and the walls are pretty soundproofed. Meals provided are different everyday, no repetition so far. Staffs are very friendly and responsive. I say highly recommend this hotel to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming to quarantine for 10 days is nothing to look forward to but the staff made the experience at The Taichung Guide Hotel worthwhile and relaxing. The rooms are very spacious and well-fitted with all the comforts, and frankly I was surprised that it is a 3-star hotel. 10/10 and would definitely recommend for future stays both for quarantine and travel purposes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their service is awesome. The check-in progress is fast and efficient. The facilities in the room are neat and well equipped. The employees here are kind and friendly. They can handle the customers' requests quickly and they can always meet the customers' expectations. I have a wonderful experience during the quarantine stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After viewing so many good reviews, in the last minutes I booked this hotel, like many others, I felt quite anxious about the 14 days quarantine in a room, but after 12 days stay and 2 days to go, I feel really pleasant about this hotel, all the reviews are genuine, this is a good hotel to stay for quarantine. For me, it is quiet, I didn't hear any noise from the next door or even outside, my room has a big window which allows me to look at the view, even it's all the buildings, the window can be opened so it's good ventilation, so in most of the time, I don't even need to open the air conditioner. Food is not bad and the communication with staffs is easy, so I highly recommend this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I quarantined for 14 days in this hotel and everything was great. I am lucky to have a room facing the Main Street which can distract me sometimes. Otherwise the internet connection is okay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food quality is good and if you want to change style your can order Uber eats and they will deliver at your door. The shower is great. The room is spacious and TV has international channel.
The 14 days passed very quickly.
