★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is definitely a place hard to reach without driving and recently due to typhoon the road is grossly covered with sand. The light house looks ordinary although it is functional. If you wish to taste Taiwan seafood and wish to see natural scene it is the place to go. Beware not to drive into the soft sand and get stucked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for an unique photography because it looks like a small dessert nearby the sea , tip: when you go there use dessert friendly colors for your clothing (grey/brown) otherwise your clothes may look like sandy and dirty if you wear other colors

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the farthest west of Taiwan mainland, so already you reach a landmark when you visit this place. This place is not suggested for playing in the water or beach, but it's a amazing location to get a feeling of desert in Taiwan. It looks like a small desert connected with south China sea. You can get some interesting photographs and sunset views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eastern most point of Taiwan main island I believe. Approach from Southern side as northern entrance is blocked. I would also advise visiting by car or scooter as it is a long long way on a push bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very exotic place where you can find desert which is very much rare in taiwan. And also the gorgeous seashore view that you can walk with along the beach with your friends or lover or family. It’s also very tempting that it’s the most western point of mainland Taiwan that you wouldn’t like to miss if you are doing circuit tour of Taiwan.
