Hey it was my first time coming to this shop and the the reason I came here was because I saw so many reviews on how great and amazing the store was and after coming here I realized why. The workers here are super nice and friendly, my hair designer was Ryan. After the haircut I look like a completely different person. I strongly recommend this place. IT’S AMAZING ☺️??????

Found this hair saloon from Google, got my hair perm by Momo. She's willing to hear what kind of hairstyle I'm looking for and give me a few recommendation. Check on it frequently, make sure everything is alright. Will definitely fly back whenever coming to TaiChung

I came back from Germany to visit and was looking for a salon and came across hair city on the internet. Highly recommended for the quality of service and price! Especially Momo is great with the advice, highlights and hair cut!

After living with a bad curly perm and haircut for 6 months, I was looking for a salon that I could trust with my hair while being on holiday in Taiwan. I had read great reviews about Hair City but was nervous and hesitant about the language barrier but Rio and his assistant Joey made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. We talked about what I wanted and Rio gave me his opinions and advice. The entire procedure was lengthy as I had a perm, haircut and a conditioning treatment but was conducted smoothly and with a smile. I had a enjoyable time at the salon and left with hair that I'm so happy with. I would definitely reccomend this salon, it was the best salon experience I have had and are very skillful in what they do.

We had a great experience dyeing our hair here! The staff was very patient and kind. Momo was the hair stylist and she did a wonderful job. I would definitely come back! A must- visit if you're looking for a reliable place to cut your hair

Loved the treatments stylist momo and her assistant, ice, did for me. I had bleached hair and it was very very frizzy due to the lack of care, momo recommended a treatment called 京唤羽結構護染髮 and suggested that i darken my hair to “add volume” and i took her advice. The outcome is awesome! After snipping off the ends, my hair is smooth, manageable and she also gave a small conditioner! Price is affordable as compared to those of Singapore, I’ll be back if i pass by taichung again! I’ve also recommended friends to visit :D

Wanted to get a haircut during my Taiwan travels. Looked to google for stellar salon ratings and found Hair City. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised there was immediate openings without an appointment (even though the salon was pretty busy and packed). This salon is pretty hipster with fashionable millenials working the place and I think there are 3 floors in this particular location. I was seated in the 2nd floor waiting area for less than 5 min before being escorted to my standard wash and cut, no specific hair-designer requested, for TWD400. My assigned hair-designer, Hanna, is the best! She served me drinking water then inquired about what cut I wanted, with the help of my bf’s mandarin-English translation and after showing some hair photos, I was on my way to the washing station with the shampoo assistant. After a relaxing hair wash and head massage, Hanna began my layered long cut with precision and detail. She took her time yet swiftly made each cut with care by deliberately sectioning off my hair and measuring out the lengths on both left and right sides. I appreciated her attention to detail and her patience in assuring I had the perfect cut. She met all my expectations: I wanted a layered cut, my split ends trimmed, my hair thinned (my hair is thick and heavy) and parted bangs. She not only did a fantastic job but when asked to make minor changes and adjustments, she had no issues with my requests and patiently cut/styled my hair to my liking. I would most definitely recommend Hanna at Hair City for a women’s cut/style!! Thank you so much Hanna! :)
