I’ve passed by this barbershop several times and it looks comfy in addition to from what I notice from outside, staff seems to be well trained and professional. But NO, I got “deceived” by its cover. I realized I’d got a big mistake the moment I sat on that barber chair. There were 2 male staff, one was busy with a customer, another was obviously indulging himself in the mobile phone and just threw me a look when I stepped into the shop. I figured it out to get a number at the ticket machine and stood there, waiting for their assistance cos I did not really know what to do next. No one said anything that I approached the staff who’s playing with his phone to ask. He literally said to me “wait outside” in Chinese. And after 2-3 mins he finally woke up and did his job. My hair was totally mistreated even though I only needed it simply trimmed. He done it in a completely sloppy and negligent manner, which I did not feel comfortable at all. I can understand that 100NT is considered as low-cost when it comes to haircut service here in Taipei, nevertheless, I got way better haircut at the MRT station with the exact same price. I hope the shop owner may at least look into this and respect what you are doing.
