Haixing Trail

The path up from the back of the restaurant next to the temple will first take a 1-kilometer ancient road with semi-concrete steps to the paved cement road. This section is quite interesting. When you reach the Eagle Rock to the Lover's Lake, it is a good paved road and you will not go there again. The little child is almost exhausted after two kilometers back and forth.

At the entrance of the forest trail on Haixing Road, there is a Fude Temple, and along the way, there are relics of reclaiming, such as Pekan, Gupoyu, bamboo forest, etc., indicating that this trail has existed for a period of time, and it should be rebuilt on the old road instead of newly built Hiking trails. The trail is 950 meters in length, with mileage signs set up every 100 meters. The road conditions along the way are quite good. It is a traditional forest dirt trail. It is comfortable and pleasant to walk in autumn. About twenty-two or three minutes, the exit of the Haixing Road trail connects to the mountain-ring trail in the Keelung Lover Lake Scenic Area, and there is a castle-shaped Lover Tower nearby. In the early years, there were no roads connecting the area to the outside world. Residents had to climb the mountains near Wulun and travel to and from the city of Keelung to purchase daily necessities. From the exit of the ancient forest road, follow the coastal bicycle trail, walk back to the Fude Temple where you started, and enjoy the sea view while walking. About four or five minutes away, you will return to the parking place.

Haixing Trail is located between Waimushan Yugang Huhai Road and Qingren Lake. The trail for traffic is about 1 kilometer in length. There are two entrances to climb up from Huhai Road. Most people will climb from No. 71, Section 2, Huhai Road. From the beginning, there is a Di Gong Temple, public toilets, and a hot shop next to it, and there is a big "Millennium Ancient Road" at the entrance of the trail. Obviously, you can't go wrong. Looking up from Haihu Road, you will feel like a long climbing ladder, which should be very tiring. After actually walking, you will find that the stairs here are not steep, and the way up the mountain trail is mostly simple. The stone stairs or dirt roads rise slowly, and you are not tired to walk. The woods on both sides are typical seaside forests, shaded by green trees. If you usually climb the suburbs, this is a pretty relaxing trip. If you don’t have enough walking when you arrive at Lover Lake, you can continue to take a circle around Lover Lake and the trail around the lake. It is also a good choice. When you go down the mountain, you can take another lake and sea exit to form an O shape, and then you can visit Waimu Mountain and enjoy it along the way. The sea view of Waimu Mountain.

It is more than 200 meters above sea level. The walking distance beside the temple is about 1000M. Some of the steps are steep, which is a very easy hill to climb. There is a viewing tower to climb up and the Eagle Rock viewing platform to see beautiful scenery. The trail is connected to the Lover's Lake Park.

It is a gentle and easy-to-walk seaside hiking trail with tree-shaded trees. The April day in early spring is neither cold nor hot, and the scenery is good. Go to the Lover Lake Scenic Area to circle the lake, visit the Lover's Tower, Eagle Rock..., it is worth recommending .

The Millennium Trail is well maintained. It takes about 3 kilometers to walk in about an hour. It connects the Lover Lake, Lover Bridge, and Lover Tower, and you can jump with beautiful mountain and sea views. But the only downside is that the restaurant at the entrance of the trail has a bad attitude. Even if you pay, you will not park. You must eat at the restaurant in order to park.
