★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Many friends have recommended this place and I finally got around to trying it out. As you can see from the photos, they are not skimpy on the meat or tendons. One of the best bowls of net noodle soup in Taiwan (if not the best but there are really so many great places in Taipei).
The wait staff are really friendly. Made great recommendations for side dishes without being overly pushy. Highly recommend!
I know my wife and I will be there again.

This restaurant has halal approved which is so awesome and friendly.
Beef noodle is a must, and flat pastry is also very delicious, you can order fry beef or veggies to fold with it, yum yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dongbei pancake (東北斤餅) was so pillowy and silky. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it is exactly like a non-crispy roti canai. I would go back for this more so than any other menu item.
Their shredded beef with Beijing sauce (京醬牛肉絲) was tender and a perfect textural pairing for the pancake. These two are the dishes to order IMO.
Beef soup was good. Noodles slightly less firm than al dente and are the smooth round type. Beef chunks were very tender and fell apart easily.
5 - Would go out of my way to revisit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last time I visited this restaurant, it was before the covid-19 happened, so I'm not sure how is it going in this restaurant right now.
But, they have really good beef noodles!
We also try their "East north flap jack" (東北斤斜). It's also recommended for you to try!
And for the drink, they provide tea for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the broth was quite good, so flavorful and warms up your stomach, but the noodles were too soggy for my liking. the clay pot preserves the temperature of the soup til the end of your meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beef noodles soup was very tasty, but some pieces were extremely tough. Service was fast and friendly. Dishwashing needs to improve because the “clean” plates and bowls had dried food particles stuck in them. (Which the employees promptly replaced, but still…..)
