Hamasushi

Various selection of sushi and side dishes. Good service and well cleanness. Recommend reservation online to shorten waiting time. Cash only, toilet is outside the restaurant

Pretty good sushi spot. For a late lunch on a weekday there was no queue. Fish tasted nice and fresh, but was not covered on the conveyor belt (unlike other sushi chains). The rice felt under seasoned to me. The sushi selection was quite decent.

Small range of fish, but a pretty decent amount of options on the menu. We visited during lunchtime on a weekday, and were surprised to find the restaurant half-empty. Wait time = zero—which was great! Most plates are NT$40, unless otherwise indicated. Considering the amount of customers present at the time, the restaurant seemed to have only served sushi that had been ordered via the screen in order to save cost and preserve ingredient freshness. It became a bit confusing after awhile, as customers were all seated in the same area, and all the ordered plates were transported on the same belt and marked with identical "customer order" stands. (Compared to the other Japanese sushi train that famously serves sushi via two separate belts). The reminder on the screen was unhelpful at times, as it would go off at the same time as other customers'. The screen to order was easy to operate and was available in other languages, but would buzz loudly every time you would press it. Had to take one star off because the udon and dessert were really disappointing and looked nothing like those on the menu. Also, a staff decided not to serve our second dobinmushi because she saw one on our table and, in her words, "it did not occur to her that that was our first order". I would still recommend and visit this place nonetheless.

I love sushi and here provides fresh sushi. Price is ok for such quality, but you need to wait a little bit when dinner time, so many people waiting in line at normal night. If you are really hungry then I won’t suggest you to go because you will die before you get sushi!

Happy days at Hama sushi. It is located near Nanjing Fuxing station, just a short few minutes walk. Amazing conveyor belt experience which is efficient, high CP value and delicious experience. Most importantly, they serve mentaiko sushi, a favourite for everyone. It’s competitively priced at $40-80/plate, and you usually spend around $300 on a regular meal. Fantastic meal experience, a must go for sushi lovers. Long live Hama sushi!

No surprise factor but I would say out of all the sushi trains this is a decent one. The price is cheap and the selection is pretty big.

The choices of sushi is relatively high! The thickness is acceptable for the price and quality. And also there is 5 soy sauce to let you try out! (Picture only had 4, you can order the 5th one in the menu that is less salt)

One of fine local sushiya, good price and good quality sushi but long line up always haha
