★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well appointed hong kong style cafe in the basement of the eslite building. With all the bamboo décor, it feels more Singaporean than the Peninsula, but still a nice place to have afternoon tea, and the prices are much more reasonable. The various pastries are quite good, particularly the egg tarts and bbq pork rolls. The also have noodles, noodles and other fares on the menu, enough to satisfy any appetite. Service charge is included so no need to tip, but feel free to leave extra as it is appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 凍檸茶 - Used two lemons and two limes, which is already strange. Entire drink tasted like the peel of the lemons and limes. 0 stars. Really disappointed.
豬排XO醬炒公仔麵 - Meat portion is little. Not cut evenly. Noodles stuck together too much. 3 stars for this.
Decor is great, but that's really it. The staff are very busy, but lack the agility and knowledge of HK food.
Also, I've been here at least four times, and each time the staff is quite slow in responding to customers' needs. Although, some are quite friendly and gentle.
Wouldn't recommend this place unless you're waiting to watch a film at the adjacent art house/theater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and food! Shrimp dumplings were deeeelicious. Also ordered the honey bbq pork pastries, bbq pork pastries, mango grapefruit smoothie, steamed pork ribs, and egg tart - total of ~ 800 NT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give the food a B+. It’s classic dim sum — nothing really amazing but good and comforting. The egg tarts were delicious, with flaky crust and a rich, creamy filling. The service gets a C for being slow and inconsistent. The decor gets an A because I love the tile floors.
