Small place , 14/15 seats , owned and operated by two brothers.
Environment is cosy, and your never too far away from whatever is it that's being cooked, as the chefs are a few meters away from you at all times.
The food is great , the sashimi was 5 ? ( bonus points for actual wasabi , rather than the " green mustard " one actually gets in other locations ).
The codfish marinated in Miso was a tad sweet ( byproduct of the Miso marinade , as expected ) but it fits great overall , and it's oh-so-tender .
The steak was impeccable , properly medium , and just overall a good cut of meat .
Only consideration for future customers would be to take a small group at a time , the place is purposely small , and the team fits the size .
Go in , Have a chat with the chefs , and just enjoy yourselves.

The Japanese prawn, tourched flounder nigiri, grilled cod and fried rice were absolute bangers. The slaw-style passion fruit pickled pumpkin side dish was super refreshing with a unique flavor profile I’ve never had before! Definitely recommend this hidden gem if you’re in the Wenshen district :)
