★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need a pizza picnic spot this is it! Out past Hsinchu....no buses low level of tourist, you may be the only foreigner they are all month. Nice hiking trails...off road trail not stairs and picnic platforms. 200nt deposit for a blanket and spot no time limit. Good shade on a hot day. Parking for your car available. Several hiking loops to go on depending on your level.
Bring your google translate no English menu or signs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a lovely pizzeria in the corner of the forest. There were several wooden platform built for customer experience the picnic style dining. We arrived here around half pass 12 on the Saturday and the pizza already sold out :( We had no choice but only ordered the drinks. Wish they could prepare more pizza especially on the weekend. I have noticed that quite a few people brought their own food and drinks there, but I’m not sure if it’s officially allowed or not.

Really love the atmosphere and the food (pizza) are also delicious ???
It’s pretty crowded during weekend, suggest to come here earlier in the morning or just come in weekdays, there’s also a small hiking track, you may take a walk after your meal.
One more thing , remember to bring all the stuff for picnic, the restaurant will not provide.
