★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could visit this area everyday and never get bored. It has a wonderful selection of teas and very patient vendors. If you speak English only and little Mandarin, Google translate (and your phone) will really help you. Some of the more savvy vendors have it and use it, buts it's helpful if you have your own so you don't have to keep switching it from English to Chinese and vice versa.
It's right near Guanzho street with a few night markets nearby. Monday was not busy but I imagine it is other days due to when things are generally open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herb Lane and nearby area gathers more than 30 to 40 herb stores, and customers generally can find all sorts of herbs and Chinese medicine in different stores. Customers sometimes have to visit different stores to find their needs, because some stores carry and sell herbs in natural raw form- leaves or roots, while some stores sell only pill, powders,or processed dry forms of herbs or Chinese medicine.
It is an acceptable practice for sales price negotiation or bargain at the herbs Lane stores, and it can be few percent difference, especially there are volume discounts.
Customers can also place orders at the stores and pick up the items later day or via mail delivery. Many stores expand their Order Service via Line in Covid pandemics in 2021.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is traditional herbal shops in a small alley way along the eastern wall of Longshan Temple. If you take the MRT to visit the Longshan Temple and Huaxi Street night market, then you should step in here for 10 to 20 minutes. Chinese have 5000 years history of using herbal medicine. This place gives you a bit of taste the varieties of herbs used for different purposes.
