★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a pleasant stay. Staffs are courteous and helpful. Rooms are elegant and comfortable. Located right in front of sun moon lake with outstanding sun rise/sun set views. Breakfast buffet is good, but the packaged dinner has too smaller the portion, certainly designed for extra paid upgrade. Cable TV needs to go digital... Pricy in my opinion for the hotel features and services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 2 nights. The view was great yes, but in the daytime there was construction going on the whole time and it stank of diesel engines and grease from the kitchens. At night, guests were sitting downstairs and making a huge rukus with no hotel staff to quiet them down. They talked till 2am. There was something wrong with the aircon, the air definitely wasn’t fresh, don’t know if it was mildew or dust but it made me cough all night and my eyes sore. We talked to the staff but they said there was no better room, except when we looked up, the higher floors were basiclly empty and most guests were crammed into the 3rd floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience! Fantastic view on the water side. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a small balcony to site on and drink coffee in the morning. The breakfast was average. Good access to a small night market and to the boats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean rooms with a beautiful view of the lake. During the day, it can be a little noisy in the room because of buses on the back side of the building. Good breakfast buffet. Right next to the dock for ferrying across the lake, convenient! Good CP value

Poor carpet quality on floor… very average for $200 a night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The equipments is a little old but almost work well. Lake view rooms are all very good view at location to see sun moon lake. if they can let services and food more great it would be a very nice hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After booking a room excluding breakfast, the reception offered me a 35% dinner discount Then he said that this applied to the next morning breakfast. However, once we wanted to make sure that the discount was legit, in that evening, we went to ask them again. What they replied me was a bit ridiculous since a girl said 15% and the guy said 25%. Anyway, this made us not to have breakfast in the hotel for the next morning. Anyway, the overall service is quite good. The room is great and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect.

The room was clean and absolute fine for a one night stay. We found the staff helpful enough. The location is certainly convenient.
The only real downside was the breakfast. By the time it eventually arrived at our room, it was cold (fried food).
Worth the stay for a beautiful morning view and convenience
