Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park, an IHG Hotel - Zhongshan 1st Rd

There is nothing to complain. Elite status was well recognized. Room is clean and nice. Staffs are very accommodated. Recommended.

Great location, great service, warm hospitality and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we enjoyed chill time there??? However, the breakfast was the major disappointment. The omelette looked like pancake which was not right about both appearance and flavor. The Shepherd’s Pie was officially the worst one I’ve ever tasted. Oh wait it’s actually NOT the Shepherd’s Pie at all. It’s more like incorrectly made lasagna because Shepherd’s Pie never has tomato sauce with sticky cheese in the recipe. The Tea-Leaves Egg was another joke which didn’t have any flavors/seasoning in it. In fact it tasted almost like boiled egg. I don’t know what the problems are in the kitchen team. The bottom line is if the food is not ok it should not be served to the guests.

Massive wonderful stay ! Thank you for arranging high floor with park view for my first stay at Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung, we were extremely enjoyed it and concierge staffs were very friendly with assisting parking car, see you next time ！

The work on the park offers the good quality and delicacy cuisine, and the service is satisfying as well, Moreover, the servers can deal with customer problems properly. It is the hotel that I will highly recommend staying.

Platinum elite status works nothing at this poor location. Response from hotel was slow and offered nothing for high tier member. Very disappointed and will likely pay no further visit. Update # after my stay my feeling was still very poor about this place. Air con wasn’t working well and made weird noises overnight. There was no welcome snacks in room when I checked in. Also the status or state of the room was poor

Always good (and very clean) rooms, fashionable decors, and best services with top notch management (for their hotel, restaurants, and bars). I have stayed in their Taipei one and now this one, and I never disappoint. Definitely will come back and stay here whenever I am in town.

The service was good. The sky bar is awesome with great atmosphere. The food was nice as well. Almost all the staff showed the great hospitality. No parking lot in this hotel. It is inconvenient that travellers should walk to the hotel and carry their belongs although the distance is not far.

Overall experience was excellent. The property was neat and tidy, most staff are professional, friendly, attentive, helpful, and energetic. The rooms are excellent: spacious, well lit, quiet and clean. Pillows, bedding, amenities are of great quality for comfort and relaxation. We all enjoyed our time spent in the rooms.Minibar is free and offered great snacks, drinks and drinking water. I'd like to take the opportunity to give a particular staff a shout out. The front desk staff/concierge Andy Weng was simply great, from the moment we set foot into Indigo Kaohsiung until checkout, Andy really took great care of my party and made us all felt warm and welcomed. Post first night's stay while awaiting for valet, I was surprised that Andy was able to address us with our name and made sure everything was in place for a great experience. Overall all staff were all of great energy and attentiveness. It really is because of every team member of Indigo Kaohsiung that created the great stay experience my party enjoyed very much. However, some small things here and there to recommend to management: 1. Be great if the TV in the rooms can offer channels/content in HD. Furthermore, have the ability to connect/mirror smartphones to the TV so guests can enjoy any contents from smartphones. 2. Some power outlets next to the bed were worn-out and loose, so chargers would drop from time to to time. 3. Rooftop bar. We understand a party of 8 guests isn't easy to accommodate on a new year's holiday, however, we felt that we were not really welcomed by the bar's front desk; the staff could be more proactive to offer more help other than just respond there are no seats available. A simple offer to register us in the list and contact us when seating is available will suffice...
