Hotel Indigo Taipei North

The first thing that stood out was the staff. They were very professional, helpful, speak good English. Bed was very good for sleeping, the room was clean and quiet. Excellent bathroom and the food from the restaurant (Asian cooking) was very good.

Arrival was great. Front desk staff was friendly and personable. Soon as I told her we only needed one bed, she knew exactly we were there for a romantic getaway. She definitely gave us the best room on the top floor with a huge bathroom.. on a Saturday! I loved how smart and quick she was :))) The view was great and the room was clean modern and chic. However we did not get to try the breakfast which I heard was great. We overslept since we got late checkout at 2pm :) There are plenty restaurants around the hotel tho. Another male front desk staff was great too. I inquired about wanting to purchase the welcome cakes that were in the room last night because they were tasty. He let me know nicely that those aren’t for sale and gave me extra for free right away. It’s really the thoughtfulness they have that I loved. Staff is just great perfect there!! LOVED!!!

Wonderful quarantine hotel. I stayed at Hotel Indigo Taipei (North) for my 2 week quarantine after returning from the states. The hotel has organized this stay very well. When you first arrive, they have to go to B4 of the hotel where they sanitize all your luggage, carry-ons and even your body and shoes. When you are in B4, they give you a key card to go up to your room. I stayed in room 825 which had a nice view of the mountains. The room was REALLY clean (I mean REALLY REALLY clean !). It felt almost brand new probably because they sterilized the room as well. I am trying to diet so I had them just make me a hard boiled egg and coffee for breakfast. Lunch was a simple chicken salad (with no dressing). For dinner I asked for grilled chicken or grilled fish. Over-all the food was good (although I did request for kind of a boring meal for my diet, they delivered exactly what I asked for). By the end of my quarantine, I was getting desperate and ordered from Starbucks, Subway and Bellini's cafe. That was a lifesaver :). Over-all, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel staff. They take care of you the best they can given you are in a quarantine hotel. All communications is done through LINE, Whatsapp or SMS messaging (they give you QR codes when you first arrive). Also they are NOT allowed to enter your room. A few days before my last day there, they had my COVID test arranged by a bus that comes to the hotel. They called my room and told me it was time to come down for the test. As for noise, it was a bit noisy (I could hear furniture being moved around upstairs and someone playing music with a loud beat). The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep well because their automatic curtains really made the room very dark. The bathtub is small (I'm 6 feet tall [182 cm]) and my legs were cramped in the tub so I only used it 1 time. On check-out evening (I wanted to check out at midnight), they brought my luggage down at 11:30pm. I went downstairs to settle the bill. One thing to note, they do charge for deliveries to your room. For the 2 week stay, it was expensive but it was a very nice stay.

The food throughout my stay were fantastic, thanks to the T.R Bar and Kitchen for their great effort to please. There was no recognition of the IHG status except for the points earned at the end. My request for the bed preferred was not responded. The view of my room was not so good as it was facing other rooms. A view with open space or some nature would be good.

Excellent hotel, rooms are amazing. They have very good service as well. I'm spending my Quarantine period here and do not mind it at all. Modern theme.

Hotel staff are amazing and the Quarantine food is very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. Super modern and built well. Cameron from GWS wind turbine tech, stayed at other venue and not even comparable, will come back for sure if forced into more quara time.

Absolutely stunning hotel, loved every moment of it. Having a room with a view of taipei 101 was amazing. I would definitely go back, the staff are super helpful too. The room was amazing, amenities were amazing. Great place for a holiday

I stayed 7d quarantine in a deluxe room 10th flr. Room was new, fresh, modern style, clean, nice bathroom, overall hi- standard, liked it. Good bed, not too soft nor hard, was perfect. A few remarks, there is no desk only a coffee table and no windows can be opened. In terms of Q-food, however, I would like to mention that it is to the taste for Asians, not western. However they try to help you as best as possible. They once brought a set of Belgian chocolates when I reported that the food did not taste me. I am quite satisfied with my stay and would recommend the hotel for Q or normal stay. The service and attention to the Q customer was far above my expectation, I am extremely satisfied with the hotel staff. They help you out with all Q formalities or any of your concerns as good as they can.
