Hotel Kuva Chateau

Stayed here twice (September 7th and September 14th) and the experiences were great both times. Staff was very, very friendly and willing to help out with anything that they could. First night we had a view towards the river and the east, second was towards the west and the park. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were huge (though the floors would get slippery easy so take care). Easy to get shuttle to and from the airport. Great place to stay, and will definitely stay here again the next time were in Taiwan.

We were awarded a very Spacious room, that was no so great but we were thankful. Looks like the hotel has many good amenities that we have no tried. We did try the Thai restaurant launch tea time food! It was delicious and it tied us over until dinner. We discovered the Kuva Whisky, this was the best part of staying in this hotel. They have various types of alcohol that you can purchase. Loving it!

Very comfortable accommodations, pleasant staff and amazing breakfast all contributed to making me feel welcome. Was able to have a nice job through the park across the street and next to the river behind the hotel. Great location central to most everything. The Zhongli Xinming Night Market was the best cultural food experience I have ever had.

The location of the hotel is great - next to a Youbike station, a park and the famous Zhongli night Market. Rooms wise it is spacious and the bed is comfy. Only issues were that the female staff that served us initially was rather rude when I asked her if she could help throw our rubbish because we couldn't find any bins nearby (or tell us where it is and we can throw it ourselves), and when we asked for simply a half hour extension of checkout time from 11 to 1130am, of which she said we'd have to pay. So rude. In the end I called later that night and another staff who answered the phone readily allowed us to stay until 1130am with no issues! Secondly, the room they initially gave us had a really strong pee smell in the toilet. We thought it was a sewage problem and called the staff up. They were prompt to change rooms for us, and the other room had no such stench, so kudos to them for their prompt and efficient service. Overall, the rooms are a bit dated. You can tell it was a really fancy hotel back in the days, but overall it's not bad at all except for the initial staffs attitude and our initial rooms issue. We couldn't use any of the facilities due to level 3 covid measures in Taiwan.

I really recommend. Comfortable hotel, beautiful, big rooms and clean. The location is good, everything that you need you have on that area, shopping, night market, parks, bars, restaurants pharmacy, spa, etc.

Dears back office I checked in on 11/14, Is booking with hotel.com. But I didn’t expect that choosing your company’s services would be the beginning of a disaster! The service staff told me that he could not let me in due to system problems.（Even my system is correct, He still asked me to contact hotel.com customer service by myself.) What I feel most unfriendly is that he keeps asking me to move to other places to contact customer service, and he keeps emphasizing that this is my own order and handles it myself. In terms of customer service skills, this is very unfriendly and rude! Today I am from Taiwan, if I can’t check in, I can go home. But if I am a foreigner today, your service is also rude and unfriendly. Would you like him to fly back directly? I want to tell you that during the 40 minutes I spent with him, he never asked other colleagues or supervisors. He keeps saying that it’s none of my business, please handle it yourself. Finally, I want to tell you that the front desk of a hotel is the most important, During a journey, it is possible to complete the whole day of service with only one service staff, also can be ruin his journey.
