One of the most unique hotel I have been to, lots of character in it's room and common area deco. Lobby was unique and gives a cultural feel with a tea theme. Room was also well designed and comes with a square bath tub and a jug of special tea bath solution. Very detailed design of accessories to give a touch of elegance. What was memorable was they give each guest a post card to send to their future self, in a year's time. Let's see if I receive mine! Front desk service was also friendly and prompt. The only thing was that the roof top only has a bar that serves alcoholic drinks. Would be good if they get rid of the pool and convert the place to serve Chinese tea. It would be in line with their theme and a nice experience to look at the Jiayi landscape and enjoy Chinese tea experience!

Nice and big hotel, the entrance was big and wide, staff was very friendly, didn’t have a chance to try their morning breakfast but should be good. Room was also big, sound prof was good, no noise even though we live so close to the drive way but no sound. Bathroom was super huge aswell, but could add more light if possible. Parking was very convenient, cause is just right next to it, walking distance 1 min, parking 1 and 2. Overall very good experience, also like their deco, will definitely stay again in the future.

A very nice hotel! The decoration is very characteristic, unique! The atmosphere is also very good! Part of the meal is not good, stay can also enjoy 9F bar discount 300 yuan, but here to enjoy the night, chat really great! is a very characteristic of the bar, an open design, room decoration is also very sanitary and modern feeling, but the noise is a little worse, but not all good, the part of the accommodation is also accompanied by breakfast, the dishes are very rich, there are a variety of choices! Well, it's full! After all, there are a lot of people in the guests, and the hotel also makes adjustments. It's really good faith

One of the nicest hotels in which I have ever been! Very friendly and proffesional stuff! The rooms, the floors, the lobby, the roof bar... is very very stylish and modern! It is just amazing! The bar at the top of the building has a great view and offers also an amazing swimming pool! The breakfast is very delicious and the food is served absolutely presentable! It feels like a 5 star hotel, but is a 3 star one! The only sad part what I can say about the place is, that next to the building you can see that some people live purely and struggle for their daily life. I really hope for them, that with more work brought from external companies, they will get a better life conditions.

Our room was tiny, in spite of it being a suite. The bed was way too hard, and the room was dusty. To top it all off, the TV only offered MOD which gave you access to a limited variety of unpopular channels and outdated movies. The staff was friendly and helpful but lacked knowledge of sightseeing around Alishan. The best thing about our stay was probably the bathtub, as well as the lovely tea and toiletries in the room.

Great service and room. The pool on the roof was the most impressive part.

The plus of the hotel is the infinity pool and the cocktail bar at the 9th floor. Very clean and neat lounge, professional and friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast are the good things you can find at the first floor :). The room is clean, bed is a bit hard and the baththube is very relaxing. No complains. A pleasant stay!

I liked many things about this hotel but there is a lot of room for improvement. The front desk staff did not speak any English, so if you don't speak Chinese, that may be a challenge. They gave me a covid-related form to fill out, also all in Chinese-- I speak Chinese, but I can't read well and I would hope that a hotel would have some important forms like this in English (you're in the hospitality industry). Things like this are why I have little hope that Taiwan will be a "bilingual nation by 2030." That being said, the staff in the restaurant and up at the pool were very helpful and kind. Now, when I went the gym was closed all 3 days I was there, which was a huge disappointment, because I had planned to use their gym during my stay, and I wish they'd shared that information somehow. It is a disappointment when you choose a hotel based on its facilities, and then they're not available. The spa was also closed, but this was announced and known, so that was fine. The pool is beautiful but it's only open for limited hours; 7-11 and then 3-6. The whole reason I booked this hotel was to spend the day by the pool, and then it's closed for most of the day (the afternoon in the sun is probably the best time to use the pool, but maybe not for Taiwanese). The view is also quite ugly (which obviously is not the hotel's fault, but the photos I saw that advertised this hotel and its pool do not accurately represent the real-life optics). Also, I had brought a small snack to eat and they told me “you can’t eat here.” But you have a bar that serves drinks and I can’t eat a granola bar? I didn’t lay out a full picnic or anything, but it’s arbitrary rules like this that can impact ones enjoyment. The breakfast was average. Beautifully presented, but mostly seafood and Taiwanese-style, not many options. You can choose between rice or noodles-- not ideal for western travelers, but it was edible. I would not pay extra for it. The rooms are very small. Great amenities in the rooms, but considering this is a "newish" hotel, there was already a LOT of wear and tear and damage to the walls of my room. The bed is super uncomfortable-- way too hard, and consists of 2 twin beds pushed together to make 1 bed, so if you're a solo traveler, you can't really lie in the middle and sprawl out. The TV was disappointing; as someone else mentioned, they don't have Netflix or other options that fancy hotels usually have nowadays (the TV remote has a "Netflix" button but it doesn't work when you press it). The AC also would not let me adjust the fan settings, so I felt hot all night while sleeping; you can adjust the temperature, but no matter how low you set it, it won't go below a certain temperature. The nicest part of the room is definitely the bathtub and the shower. The toiletries are really luxurious and the bathtub is big and great for soaking. If it weren't for the bathtub, I would have been sorely disappointed in my experience. I think if you have to stay in Chiayi, this hotel is not bad, but wouldn't visit just to try the hotel. It's average, I would only come back if I really needed to be in Chiayi again. Like many things in Taiwan: it "looks" really nice, but it's mostly for show.
