Hoya Resort, Wuling

Wuling is beautiful. The resort is decent, service and food great. Will highly recommend the following: going to 雪山 entrance to view sun rise,take the guided tour at the tourist center and attend the musical performance and star gazing talk at the resort. Very memorable

The place is pretty good but the buffet pretty busy when we went (not long before Chinese New Year)

The room definitely need refurbishment! But it’s still the best resort in the area after so many years. The dining experience is quite good.

The accommodation and food is average and the group tourists can be very noisy. But this is a friendly option if you don’t have a car.

Buffet dinner is pretty good with variety, room is a bit small but clean. Only issue is that there isn’t a convenience store within the facilities

Food is included, buffet style for a similar breakfast and dinner in two shifts. Hotspring bath in the basement. A tour bus service in the park, 2 hours NT150 by an outside operator is small printed in the hotel flyer but not mentioned at check-in, not part of the hotel facility.

Great service, room is decent and clean. Very friendly for bikers to stay. Offered public dryer/washing machine is A+.

The only reason to stay at Hoya is the nice surrounding in the middle of the nature. The hotel is very old and not maintained in a proper way. Everything is very old fashioned and give you the impression to fall apart. When you arrive you will find a very dirty hotel facade front, walls which would need urgently painting, big windows which haven't been cleaned for month etc. We had a 4 person family room. The bath room was very poor the water tab was hanging just from the wall(like urgently repaired, already 2 years ago). The bed was very hard and the walls gave me the impression of paper (hearing every neighbour ) beside the old stinky carpet and the installed factory lights. This hotel is indicated as a 4 star hotel! The only thing which was according a 4 star hotel was the price we paid for the room. All my Illusion of relaxing nice holidays in the middle of the nature where destroyed latest when I entered the room. Pls. Don't get me wrong, simple but clean is very sufficient for me and when you pay accordingly. But for a 4 star hotel simply not acceptable. The service was good. The buffet everage.
