★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hostel. Private room with three beds was great. Close to Hualien station. Fairly inexpensive. The front desk doesn't speak much English. Breakfast was rice porridge and toast. Would recommend.

The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom clean.
The owner was friendly, welcoming, and very flexible.
Things that I believe could improve is the drying towels which were super small. And the facilities in the room which were enough but with no extras.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel was pretty good for its price. Since it was around $1520/person for 3 night 5 people basically costing me 500 a night. They don’t really give big towels, so bringing your own would be recommended. And their toothpaste is kinda weird. So bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste too. The hot water seemed to turn off at a certain time at night which was kind of a bummer when I came back from the bar with my friends. Shower before 10 would also be recommended. But looking at the overall price. It’s worth it for people on a low budget.
