★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being remodeled and enlarged. Construction around it. The Taiwan Tourist shuttle bus to Taroko Gorge is to the left and small right as you exit station. First position. The local bus to Taroko is further down behind the Tourist shuttle bus. To avoid lines on Weekends and holidays, buy your tickets early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Currently under renovation, but still easy to navigate. Hopefully they add more benches. Wish they would offer more high speed trains to Hualien to allow easier early morning travel for day trips. Booking a train online for the high speed rail is difficult because they sell out quickly. We took a flight out to Hualien to make our Taroko Gorge Tour on time and a train back to Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a nice station! Came here to visit Taroko Gorge and surprisingly this station has everything I needed, a place to drop baggage for the day, foods, and milk tea! The bus station to Hualien and shuttle bus to Taroko is right next to the station!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A spacious, clean, new and well-maintained station. The underground pathway is a bit dark and wet. You may find some spelling errors on the bilingual signs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its under renovation, it means theyre making it better. For me this station is special, because it serves a door to those tourists who want to visit and enjoy the beauty of Hualien. And to the locals who dont want to drive a car and just want to ride a train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice station with purchasing, boarding, and all the store on the upper level. However, there is only one restroom I could find on the upper level though there's another one on the ground level but still way too few for a train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This station is clean and quite big. They have clear information. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They have some stores for you to buy foods or souvenirs. Their waiting room is spacious enough.
