★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind of a hidden gem in the alley. Expect a long wait during lunch time coz ppl are looking for some authentic Taiwanese food! The side dishes are of great variety and quality, too. I usually get take out coz it’s just too crowded at noon. The info saying usually not busy around noon is lying, lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very hidden gem, would not have known about this if the locals didn’t recommend. Their rice and pork is so fragrant and tender. Even their vegetables are yummy, soup with 2 pork balls just amazing!
The only con I will say is it’s abit salty so if you prefer light food, this might not be recommended for you.
I will definitely go back again when I’m back in Taipei, so highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic. Get outside your comfort zone, forget they don't speak much English and enjoy some of the best slow cooked braised pork you'll ever have. It's a taiwanese greasy spoon style local cafe. With a large queue of locals.

Words don’t do this place justice! After a beautiful lunch, head over to the donut place just slightly further down and you have the formula to a perfect lunch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Aloft recommend this place and it does not disappoint! Braised pork just melts in the mouth. Impossible to order everything on the menu but try to come with a bigger group so you can try more dishes.
Come early before the lunch crowd. Were there 20 mins before opening time and the restaurant was almost fully occupied with folks, just waiting patiently for their orders at opening time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw a bunch of reviews on google so we stopped by just to see if it's really that good. having tasted most of taipeis famous Luroufan places, this is high in the list. Top 3 at least. On par with Jinfeng and a few Sanchong ones. The famous napa veggies are probably a very local taste. We were not quite sure what to think if it. However, the real winners are the bamboo shoots pork rib soup and the pig leg. It's slightly pricey but when still cheap compared to US standards. Probably lots of msg because afterwards you will be very thirsty. Two thumbs up!
