★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A local delight! Really fresh and good quality produce. Fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and a lot of other things on offer. Some street food and other basic stores too, like kitchen utensils, clothing, shoes etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market is also called the Yongcun Market. It has a great variety of fruit, vegetables, fish, noodles, bread, and some prepared foods. It's open evenings until 8 or 9. Great deals towards closing time. Great place to visit for locals and visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diverse day market for the locals and a hidden gem for the traveler looking to avoid the tourist spots. Monday is a day of for the regular vendors so the market will be less diverse and have a different vibe. Usually there is a queue for the BBQ chicken (except Monday) in the afternoon and to me it's worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best markets I know in Taipei. Very big, very busy, with great food options. There are stores that you will not easily find on other markets for example freshly made pure black sesame paste and such.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient local market, but definitely not the biggest. Good for fruits and vegetables, produce is generally quite fresh. Often very crowded, and not much social distancing. Right next to the Yongchun MRT station.
