During pandemic, all staff still provide excellent service. They are polite and assist me what I need. The room is neat. The clearness is almost perfect. The view is great . Not to pick 101 view. The other side' you can see the mountains in neihu. The sunshine intje morning is not too strong as well. You don't have to low-down your curtain and a morning call is not necessary. The sun will wake you up in a soft way You can really call this place HOME.

If you’re a traveler like me, than you know how important it is to find a hotel with parking. Especially in Taipei. I’m always on Agoda booking hotels and selecting “parking” as a criteria. Humble house always comes up and decided to give it a shot to try something new. (Usually I’m at Courtyard or Kimpton) Humble House DOES NOT come with parking. Parking at humble house is an extra $1000NTD per night (unless you move your car to another lot away from the hotel for $500). The weak excuse is “we partner with a parking lot, so we do”. I swear all other guests checking out along the reception (2-3 other guests) all were just as confused and frowning over this the same thing. Most of us do not find the “paid parking lot” as a transparent information. Humble House please remove yourself as a “have parking lot” from Agoda. Completely misguiding.

Modern and clean rooms. Comfortable stay. Nice amenities. If you need currency, the front desk can assist you. I had book this hotel plus another hotel in Taipei for my trip. I ended up foregoing the other hotel’s reservation, to stay longer at the Humble House. I recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is convenient, it is next to many new department stores, but away from the livelihood of the city. There are live performances on the weekends and the volumes are extremely loud. You can hear it very clearly through the windows. The facilities are okay, though their opening hours are very restricting. On their website, they claim that breakfast is available from 6:30-11am, however hot food is not actually available until 8am, which is rather late if you are here on a work trip. From 6:30-8am, they provide a breakfast box with a club sandwich, which is really awful to taste and hard to swallow. Their room service also stops quite early at night, when I came back from work late, it wasn’t available anymore (partly because all their food takes up to an hour to cook). Their receptions on GF and 6F are pretty much vacant after 11pm, so if you need anything at night, you won’t be able to get any help. There is only one person in the back throughout the night, and they are not able to leave front desk so really you cannot get any help or service at night. Very few staff there spoke fluent English, it was really difficult to communicate very basic information with them. Their staff were disrespectful at times and had awful attitudes towards us, one girl continuously rolled her eyes at us and was just simply not acceptable. It is fair to say I would not recommend Humble House to anyone and would strongly suggest staying somewhere else if you can.

I stayed at Humble House for three week, for a work trip. After spending such a long time there, I do not understand how the hotel qualifies for five stars. I would grant it three. First off, the service provided at Humble House is poor, at best. Most of the staff barely speaks English, and it was hard to communicate on even very basic matters such as breakfast, or ordering a drink at the bar. Quite a few staff members were very rude and extremely unhelpful. In addition, Room service only starts at 7am and finishes at 11pm. In-between these times, it is impossible to get anything delivered to the room (the bar and restaurant are closed too), even a portion of fries, which is unheard of at a five starts hotel. I started work before 7am and finished after 11pm on a regular basis, and I would have expected the hotel to be able to provide at least some sort food. Finally, the facilities are alright and clean, but the AV equipment in the rooms is a little outdated. The pool is only opens from 9 to 12, 2 to 6 and 7 to 9pm - if you want to take a swim you are quite restricted. Not to mention that it is not allowed to bring any drinks or food at the pool, even a fruit juice, which is a shame. I tried to access the business centre and the staff told me I couldn’t, because their colleagues were already using it (since when are the guests not the priority?). Overall, I shall not stay again at Humble House if I am ever back in Taipei, and if you are expecting a five stars hotel experience, I would strongly suggest that you stay clear of it too.

I have been to the humble hotel three times and it is really nice to have the option of free parking. This time I feel that the attitude of the service staff has dropped, not particularly bad, it was better before. The previous service attitude is the best in the humble group. Comfortable bed, good sound insulation, excellent location and view, one of the best Taiwan hotels in my opinion.
