Nicole and Roy's cloud TOEIC preliminaries class or TOEIC basic class is really suitable for me who has never touched TOEIC at all. I gave myself half a year to prepare TOEIC, and the goal is to reach 650-700. And I myself set the test to be about 500 within 3 months. I have already taken the class for 2 months, and I really feel that it is not a problem to achieve the goal of the first stage in 3 months. Thanks also to the teachers and senior sisters in the TOEIC LINE group who answered questions. There is also a Duoyijing listening exercise given in the group every day, which is really helpful.

As a PM (Project Manager), English has always had a strong rigid demand. In 2020/10, I participated in the practical grammar class, TOEIC preliminaries and advanced courses of Teacher Albert of Sherlock College. During the 6-month devil training, I experienced small-class immersion teaching and solid training. The following A few points are the most recommended items: (1) Establishment of the concept of learning In the past, looking up a dictionary in the fast-paced era was long forgotten in old memory in order to find the answer quickly, but in the course of the class, I kept demonstrating how to use different dictionaries correctly to confirm "I don't understand" words, or even words you think you understand” and then apply them to English grammar and example sentences. In addition, because the teacher's background has a background in Chinese literature, integrating the content of Chinese literature in the teaching process can enable students to learn from a macro perspective. (2) Interaction between teachers and students Different from the large-class teaching in other cram schools, the small-class teaching in the college strengthens the interaction between teachers and students. Every question is asked passively at the beginning and then expects the teacher to give a standard answer. Prepare my thoughts and simulate the questions the teacher might ask back. (3) Comfortable environment The comfort of the environment affects the effectiveness of the entire study. There is no crowded feeling in a large class, and it allows teachers to better grasp the learning situation of each student. (4) Interaction of Line Groups The teacher's feedback on the line can make students' questions not limited by time and place. The real reason for getting questions during the learning process is the problem of grammatical structure or the inaccurate usage of words. On the other hand, the elaboration of daily grammar questions is not face-to-face interaction, but the understanding of sentences and grammatical explanations have raised the level to a higher level. The great improvement of my English ability has enabled me to grasp new information at work, and I can also use the improvement of English to help my performance at work. Currently, I have planned to re-learn in return to improve my English ability.

English has always been a subject that I am not good at in engineering. Even in our generation Z, everyone has been exposed to English since kindergarten. After studying for so long, English has always been a part of my studies. There is a big wall, and I have never been able to find a way to break through it. I believe that many students in their twenties who are about the same age as me have the same experience. During the university years, many courses were used in original texts, and the contents of the lecture notes were poorly understood. Under such circumstances, we were still able to complete our studies. But the level of English is only stopped at a certain level. After I left the society and started looking for a job, I found that English is also inseparable from my environment. English is one of the necessary skills for a software engineer, because unfortunately all programming languages are written in English, and most programmers use English to communicate. No matter how much I hate it or how much I don't want to face this fact, English is absolutely an indispensable skill in my work environment to read articles, specifications or dealing with third-party companies. In my career, I don't want this lack of this ability, and I can't use the expertise I originally learned in the undergraduate department, and then affect my career development. The courses at Sherlock Holmes College, I have taken grammar, TOEIC, and all-round literacy courses myself. First of all, let me talk about the part of the grammar course. It is undeniable that the teacher is very good. He clearly knows the context of every grammar, and at the same time reminds you from time to time what you should pay attention to. He teaches in a very logical way. I will take you to recreate the concept of grammar from beginning to end. Even if you have a certain foundation, I believe that taking the course again will bring you different feelings. The biggest difference between TOEIC's courses and other teachers' classes is that the listening teachers will give you important concepts, including the differences in British and American pronunciation, often confusing words, and adding a lot of words to let you in one class. Gained a lot from the class. Some of the multiple-choice questions you read will analyze each sentence to let you know the complete sentence structure, not only to let you write multiple-choice questions, but also to tell you that you can use what you have learned when you want to apply it later. Single, double, and triple reading will take you through each paragraph from beginning to end, ranging from whole sentence analysis to the use of prepositions. All-round reading and writing is much more interesting than the previous two courses. Every week, I will choose a piece of news to read, and I will do exercises through the sentences and phrases that appear above. I will revise the sentences written by everyone on the spot in class. On the one hand, you can learn from others' mistakes and on the other hand, it also increases your timely writing ability. Finally, I hope that everyone can achieve their goals on the road of learning languages and no longer be troubled by this.

At the beginning, I was worried that the epidemic would heat up again + occasionally I had to work overtime and could not take physical courses at a fixed time. So sign up for the 6-month cloud course, It's been more than 3 months now (Grammar + TOEIC). When I first signed up, I was worried that if it was not a physical course, what should I do if I encountered a problem? Although the course consultant said that there would be a LINE learning group where you can ask questions, But in fact, I'm worried about whether it's fake, but I'm just learning to encounter bottlenecks and asking crazy questions. Many thanks to the teachers who answered the questions. The teacher is really attentive, In addition to posting TOEIC required words on the group, I will also send TOEIC listening exercises every day on the group, Practice a few questions every day during your commute or lunch break. Accumulated and practiced nearly a hundred questions, In the past, when I wrote the topic myself, I often felt that the listening content was too fast to understand or failed to grasp the key points. Through such painless practice every day, my strength is gradually improving, which is really a sense of achievement. I am ready to register for the exam in September, and I am confident that I will pass the salary increase threshold set by the company at one time. I highly recommend it to people like me who can only prepare for exams with fragmented time slots. Invest in yourself - help yourself raise your salary~

The reason why I want to take classes in Foremost is very simple, because I have few opportunities to use English in a few years. Although I have studied outside, my progress is limited. I remembered that I had taken Mr. Albert's class before. I am deeply impressed, and I know that Albert is very strong. I think it may be time to change the learning method and learning environment. I can't expect to use the original method. I was able to get satisfactory results in the test, so I decided to come to Foremost to take a class with Mr. Albert in June last year! Albert's grammar class is the most worthwhile class in my opinion. I have never encountered a teacher who has organized grammar lectures so clearly and completely. Albert's logic is clear, his thinking is clear, and his expression ability is very good, helping to clarify problems. Foremost will have a grammar question every day for students to analyze and practice. This method is unprecedented for me at least. The teacher can help to correct the analysis written by the students. Review, find the missing from it, review the content of grammar handouts, and look up the dictionary to understand the usage of words. Over time, it will be difficult for English to improve! Because the TOEIC Advanced Class was on alert level 3 at the time, using Teams to teach the class was absolutely as shocking as the on-site physical class. Due to the small class system, the teacher could guide and explain the students' questions, practice the questions before the class, and upload the answers. Google forms, explanations and reviews in the class, the whole class is very fulfilling. The TOEIC sprint class chooses cloud-based classes. Since their time is not fixed, they choose to watch online cloud-based courses. The teacher is very attentive and has no limits at all. Every question is explained and reviewed without hesitation. The content is solid and solid. The course hours are at least 5-6 times as long as the original table. Although I haven't been to a cram school in person, thanks to the advent of the age of technology, the learning effect is still very good. Teachers are willing to tell the truth and let students learn step by step. Maybe they won't see results in a short time, but they have made great progress in the long run! I think the best thing is that teachers teach students many correct ways of self-study, correct attitudes and methods, which are not only helpful for English learning, but also for other learning aspects.

At present, I am a fourth-year university student who is about to graduate. Under the system of the previous education system, it was difficult to have the opportunity to speak and practice English conversations, which led to the situation where many words could be understood but not read. In order to improve their speaking ability, I also I hope to be able to easily have daily conversations with others in the days to come, and to be able to chat with others after becoming a newcomer in society. After this idea came into being, I initially looked for a cram school, hoping to focus on convenient transportation, small class teaching system, and both online and offline learning. I found a lot of information on the Internet, and in the end Holmes was satisfied with these points. My needs, and highly rated! In February of this year, there was an actual visit to the classroom. The environment is comfortable and clean. It has been about two or three years since its establishment, and there are also Podcast programs. The teaching is novel and interesting! The course has a Line group where you can ask teachers questions in real time, and the Line official account can also handle administrative needs. Due to personal factors, at this stage, the main method of teaching is video. Although the cloud learning system cannot synchronize with everyone to practice, it is very convenient to play back the video if you don’t understand it! At present, the course I have signed up for is an all-round training course. The teacher is Mr. Roy. Mr. Roy will discuss different current affairs in each class. It's the Echo part, listening to the cadence of native speakers through TED Talk speaker videos, using markup notes to imitate, learn, and actually read aloud. Each three-hour class gains a lot and will improve speaking. However, after class, you really need to review it or take it out to read and practice. After all, dialogue is something that needs to be contacted every day. , otherwise it will be a waste of effort. I look forward to the future courses to be able to actually teach with you, and perhaps have different learning experiences and impressions~

I am a musician and educator. The motivation for the class is mainly because I want to improve my writing and speaking skills, so that I can use it in bilingual education in the future, and even when I perform abroad, I can speak fluently in English, so that the audience can truly understand the composition background and structure of the music works. Before coming to Sherlock Holmes College, I had taken TOEIC and Vocabulary lessons from Teacher Albert. I still remember that in the TOEIC class with Mr. Albert at that time, the teacher would add a lot of homophones and similar-sounding words in the listening course. And I really admire the teacher's ability to use associations with root prefixes to add three or four hundred synonyms, antonyms and related words in just one class, helping me to quickly improve my vocabulary. . Not only that, in the reading course, the teacher will first help us to find out the key points of each grammar question type and the conceptual traps that students often make, and then bring us the problem-solving skills he just talked about into the questions for practical exercises. . I think Mr. Albert has a very good idea that he believes that "skill" is not a one-sided knowledge point, but must first have a comprehensive grasp of the background of the knowledge, and then through the process of continuous and solid repeated practice , to combine the key knowledge "techniques" "smartly", which completely coincides with my philosophy of teaching students music performance. Another thing I still remember is the teacher's vocabulary class at that time, because the teacher can always explain the origin of each word and the evolution of the meaning of the word. Not only that, he will teach us how to look up the dictionary correctly, so that the students know how as English learners we can use the dictionary to learn for life. Later, when I learned that the teacher came to Sherlock Holmes to teach, I found that the class location was very convenient, because I took a bus from other counties and cities to Taipei Main Station, and then transferred to the MRT to Guting Station to arrive at the classroom. When I visited the site, I found that the staff kept the environment very clean and bright, and the classrooms were all planned in small classes, so I could learn and interact with the teacher at close range, and the teacher could observe the students' reactions and immediately respond to the students' questions. Unlike traditional cram schools, where there are many people, the seats are crowded, and they can only passively receive information, unilaterally listening to the teacher's lectures all the time. In a learning environment like Sherlock Holmes, I can easily ask questions to teachers and have two-way communication in class. Moreover, the common areas outside the classroom are also very quiet, and you can also feel a comfortable atmosphere when waiting or resting. After consulting with the staff about the course, I learned that the teacher opened a course of "all-round reading and writing" here, and I immediately decided to continue the teacher's course. Sure enough, although I haven't attended the teacher's class for several years, the teacher will, as usual, carefully analyze the grammatical structure of the news article sentence by sentence, and supplement the usage and collocation of the words that have appeared in the sentence, so that I quickly become familiar with it. into his teaching mode. However, what amazes me is that after the teacher finished explaining, he immediately asked the students in the class to practice how to apply the vocabulary and sentence patterns they just brought to their writing in the Google common file. What I benefited a lot from taking this course is that I originally only used superficial words for the same sentence, but during the correction process in the on-site class, the teacher not only used grammar to train us, but also to learn to analyze and write it out by ourselves. What is the problem with the sentence? The teacher will even guide us step by step from the perspective of rhetoric to recall the words and phrases he has taught, requiring us to learn to replace more incisive word selection and precise grammar structure to present. The semantics we really want to express can greatly improve the level of our overall writing content. This kind of explanation and application is in place at one time. I really feel that the comprehensive reading and writing course is really a compulsory course designed for students like me who want to acquire a comprehensive method of English. In a class, the teacher told the classmates in the class that if you have time, you can take the English-related license exams. It is good to take these exams as an "English" health check. If you do well, congratulations on your progress. If you don't do well in the test, you should congratulate yourself for being able to find out your blind spots in English learning early through the test, and you need to adjust your learning methods and steps. However, you must not come to class just because you have an exam, just to take chances and learn some messy problem-solving skills. The teacher also said, just like we don't want to go for a health check, so the day before the check-up, we drink chicken essence and eat ginseng, hoping that our check-up numbers will be beautiful. After listening to it that day, I decided to follow the teacher's suggestion to register for the TOEIC test, and during the more than one month period from the registration to the official test day, I still followed my usual study habits, and did not study for a long time because of the test. I just want to know how much I can improve after being baptized by my teacher for more than half a year. In the end, I improved from only 625 points to 915 points before the class, and I got the golden certificate, which is considered as a good report card and a gift to express my tribute to the serious teacher Albert. When there is more space in the future, I also want to take the grammar class of Teacher Albert, which is highly recommended by other students, so that I can re-understand the grammar structure. I hope that with the help of these courses, I will further improve my speaking and writing skills. Performance.

Recently, due to the severe epidemic situation, my family suggested to avoid going out as much as possible. Fortunately, the college has provided the option of live-streaming classes for physical students during the epidemic, so I have been taking classes at home for a while. After the epidemic is over, I still want to go back to the Guting classroom! The transportation is very convenient. It is just from Exit 1 of Guting MRT Station. There is also a moss that I love to eat nearby. Started my grammar and all-round listening and speaking class. In addition to the course content and the teachers are very good, I also miss the environment of the college, and I heard from the staff that some chocolate candy snacks and tea bags were placed at the counter because I was afraid that some students who were rushing to class would not have time to eat. It can be used to satisfy hunger quickly, it's really nice
