My favorite dishes are clam soup and goby rice. Sashimi also tastes fresh and yummy.

Very good food, beautifully plated, served in nice surroundings. They had an English menu and the staff were able to explain the options so we could understand what we needed yo choose or do. Although helpful and very professional, the waiter who served the first few courses of our meal was not very smiley (or just deeply uncomfortable with having to speak English). For the price (about 690 NTD), the set meal was terrific value. Each dish had been thoughtfully put together and it was clear what ingredient or flavour was highlighted with each course. We didn't order the wagyu (which might have been an optional upgrade but we couldn't be bothered to find out when ordering), but the smell of beef from the nearby table that did made us wish we had! The only letdown of the meal was my drink, a Berry smoothie: a berry flavoured slushie with a small glass of yoghurt on the side and some cranberries scattered over the top. It was not smooth, and only distantly derived from any actual fruit. The pomelo tea, however, had an interesting, almost yuzu-like aroma and came with a peanut butter mochi (!) that balanced the slight bitterness of the drink.

Our dinner is Japanese cuisine. It is a pork set meal. You can enjoy the wonders of hot-stone grilling! The heat of the stone sears the outside of the food, locking in the flavour and juices.It is a very delicious Japanese dish.

Good value. Food was decent. Service was really good. If you get the beef that you cook on the stone yourself, cook fast! The stone runs out of heat pretty quickly.

The clam soup, whitebait rice and green tea is great, but the rest are very ordinary and forgettable. Especially the sashimi and pork, not impressive. Ambient is good though and service passable.

This was an amazing experience and extremely surprising given how cheap it is compared to other high end restaurants. An amazing deal for the great food and service. This is definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Taipei and I have been to many high end ones. This is a must try, a hidden gem!!
