★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the popularity of their roll cakes, I found them to be average. Was much more impressed with their fruit tarts.
Since there's only 2 small two-person tables for dining in their tiny shop, it's better to buy slices for take out. Better yet, order cakes and rolls whole in advance on their FB page.

Small cake shop run by three passionate bakers at Zhongshan station area. Headed to the shop before flight departs and was happy that I insisted to wait for the taro tart ! Look at this! The taro fillings make up 50% of the cake, rich and dense. Not as creamy and sweet as the one you get from other cake shop, meaning no artificial color or enhancer added. I LOVE it?. Crunchy almond crust btw. Though I believe some others might think this tart is not creamy/ not sweet/ no taste.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They make pretty deserts. I ordered cake roll. Cake is not fluffy or moist but dry and a little hard. It separated from cream right away. Just not my cup of tea. Maybe their tarts are better. There are only two tables inside and a long bench. Very crowded. Only 1/4 of the space is for dining. To go is more likely the choice. I was attracted by its pretty photos and they really are like in the photos. Too bad I don't like tarts as much as cake rolls. A little disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fig tart is really amazing $160NTD tastes straight out of a department store in Tokyo. The mango roll cake is decent but probably won’t buy again $110NTD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got taro tart as family’s birthday cake. It was tasty I would recommend to friends. The taro tasted silky and the tart tasted crispy. Overall the sweetness was just right. However, the price was a bit high, next time would come back again and try the other flavor with sliced one.
