★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place for the locally made chicken. This place is mostly for groups, with shared meals for one to 10. We had one of the meals for 4, the chicken one instead of trout. We had soup, a pork dish, some sides and a whole roasted chicken that required being pulled apart with gloves that were provided. The food was quite good and we were all full when we left

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Re Chao restaurant in Taiwan, and they serve the famous roast chicken in a pot.
Ordered a few dishes, spent around $1600 for 5 pax.
Ambience is ok, comes with a great view.
Food is decent. Chicken is a must try, the fried egg is also not bad. Mutton is a little tough, and vegetables are normal. Overall, if you’re keen on Taiwanese traditional cuisine, you can pop by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtaking view and delicious clay pot chicken. The chicken has beautifully crisp skin while the meat is tender and juicy.
The whole thing just melts in your month ???.
The other dishes were well cooked as well and the portions were generous.
The dinning area has huge windows and offers a fantastic view of the city.
If you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken was served very hot and size was big. Worth the money - sold individually at 600 TWD or as a set, along with rice, soup and cabbage at 700 TWD.
Loved the hospitality of the restaurant - they provide free shuttle service from your accommodation to the restaurant and back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You got there for the chicken which was really good. Other than than I don't think any other dishes can match up.
We were there late November, weather was cool and you get hungry rather quickly. Getting a hot meal as such is really heavenly. The chicken was cooked to be juicy tender, it will be served whole.
They will give you 2 pairs of gloves, the fabric one for the first later then the plastic one over the first one. Why the gloves? Well it's to break up the chicken yourself, frankly was kinda amusing.
All in all I gave it a 4⭐️ because the rest of these dishes were just regular stuff. The pic with the night view is what you will see having dinner

Food was super tasty. The chicken was just a tad over cooked, but the amazing flavor made up for it. The trout soup was super delicious. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant has stunning Mountain View right outside the window. A nice place to enjoy local food and breathtaking scene the same time. There are several parking spots at the front. The road is kinda narrow be careful while driving.
The food is authentic and tasty. The mountain pork is very peppery maybe doesn’t suit everyone. Love the fish dish and the fish soup. Very fresh.
A great place to have lunch.
