The popcorn chicken was moist and tender. Same for the mushroom, delicious.

It has long history (44years!) and is cnn recommended but have to say the chicken and squid are not as tasty as the breaded type. Cheap for the portion though..NT145 for chicken and squid combo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CNN recommends this krispy chicken stall and the line crossing to the ximen walker entrance is validation enough for us to try it out. Very easy to order with 3 of their popular sets shown at the counter. We choose set one with krispy chicken and squid. They served it hot and in a takeaway pouch. Overall verdict: it's okay. I understand why people like it but I'm not really a fried food kind of person. The combo set of chicken and squid costs ntd 190. Which I guess is not that bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inedible. Nothing but bones and 100 year old oil, and not the "flavor" kind, the "rancid" kind. Employees are nice and hard working, but the flavor is terrible. Great reputation, so I hope this is an unlucky /uncommon occorance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consider cheap fried chicken with proper hygiene handling you can found in Taipei and Ximen in this particular. Sadly to say that the chicken is not my type. 3star for the good customer service provided by the staffs.
