★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JAL's new lounge at TPE Terminal 2--in operation since 2017--is a pleasant surprise, with characteristically excellent service and some surprisingly good food, including a tasty version of JAL's signature beef curry. I decided to give it four stars, not five, due to the unimpressive seating arrangement--for reasons that elude me, this lounge has no simple sensible seat-and-dining table spaces. It's nevertheless worth a visit for the delicious curry and rice! Date visited: 18 January 2018.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent size lounge with a variety of food. The lounge doesn’t look into the runway though, only the outside road. The lounge doesn’t look as nice as the Premium Plaza lounges in the same terminal.
There’s 2 variety of soup - miso, and Chinese mushroom chicken. There’s also an oden bar.
Desserts consist of fruit bowl, mango pudding, and chocolate pudding. The mango pudding is very good, not sweet at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it's a very small lounge in Taipei.
Seating area are sparied in a long cordor. Food and drinks are on other side of seats.
Food selection are very few. This morning they serve spicy tofu, spicy chicken, fried rice and noodles.
The chicken and tofu are on the salty side. Chicken is very dry.
But the good thing is that this lounge kept very clean! Natural sunlight coming through the window in the morning are nice. But in the hot summer days of Taiwan or in the afternoon or evening time will be different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and quiet lounge. It sits between D6 and D7, so really convenient for catching JAL flights. Food is decent and several options. The only small thing is they don't have a shower here.
