★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whilst it is true that the products sold at Jason's are more expensive when compared to other stores, they definitely have a much wider range of products. Including an impressive range of imported cheese, wine, biscuits, breakfast cereals etc etc etc. Everything seems to be so well organized and the staff are all so friendly and professional. Definitely worth visiting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This particular branch has recently had a refurbishment, to brighten up the place, make it more appealing and freshen things up. Looks great. It's a shame they didn't freshen up the staffs' miserable attitude while they were at it! In a separate review of a different branch, I mentioned that while the store had a great selection of products - especially food from around the world - the staff were mostly unsmiling, cold and looked generally miserable. Well unfortunately, it's even worse in this, I assume, their flagship store, being that it's below Taipei 101.
I can understand if people are maybe a bit shy, especially around a westerner, like myself, but it really goes further than this. They literally look as if they've been to a funeral!
Putting that all aside, as serious as I deem it, the store itself is good, and now has a dedicated wine section, a large deli counter, and lots of other improvements that really make it good place for shopping for rarer, more international stuff.
So, if miserable staff don't bother you, it's the place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of cheeses and cold cuts. Could reduce the number of in-store aunties hawking their wares at ever aisle. It's kinda tiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Xinyi supermarket. Same offerings as most others, but have a habit of discontinuing items we like. So, stock is inconsistent. A lot of imported goods, good selection of meats, fruits, vegetables, and sushi.
