I think this one is the greatest trail you can enjoy your good time in the woods and don't need to hike far far away.

Tomb Raider Trail Absolutely beautiful for nature lovers and love fresh air from cooling effects of Japanese tall cedar trees.

Very awesome hiking trail. It’s very comfortable as it’s under the shadow most of time. The trail is well maintained and easy to walk even though it seems to be steep from topography. You need some rock climbing with the help of rope to summit. But the view is definitely worth it.

Beautiful & challenging hike. I'm not a regular hiker & I don't exercise much so found this to be quite difficult but doable. I went with 9 people at the beginning of April on a Saturday during Qiming Holiday. We started the hike at 6:30am and it took us 7.5 hours in total with breaks. It's quite shaded most of the way. The trees are tall, thin, and tranquil. The environment feels a lot different than other hikes in Taiwan, like you're in a different place. You can hear a lot of birds and wildlife. Closer to the top you can see above the clouds and other mountains. Really nice views. There are a lot of roots on the path so you have to watch where you're stepping. The trail gets increasingly more difficult, with some steep climbing at the end. When we reached the top ~10am, it was already quite crowded with people and a lot of bugs. On the way down we ran into a lot of traffic from people heading up towards the peak. We ate breakfast sandwiches around 8am. We also brought trail mix, snacks, dried plums, 1.5L of water each, energy drinks, fruit, walking sticks, and gloves for the hike. We took a 45min break after descending from the peak to eat lunch (noodles). All of this helped with being able to finish the hike! It was physically & mentally challenging but worth it.

A moderate hike over a fair amount of distance. It took us a little over 5 hours including our lunch break. Unfortunately we came on a poor day so there wasn't much of a view, but the trail itself was well marked and maintained. There's a shelter midway if the weather is poor and you want to stop for a dry lunch. A very beautiful trail with a range of different path types (climbing up rocks, flat gravel paths, and a lot of root paths and rock stairs). There is a point where you have to cross a river, on the way back it had gotten so wetthat it was impossible to cross without soaking our feet. There was (paid) parking and a bathroom at the trailhead.

It's a very challenging hike. You have to be physically fit and agile to make it to the top. The terrain is mostly tree roots and foliage for the first 80% of the ascent, but the last 20% or so is mostly steep rock climbing, with the aid of ropes. It's not easy at all. You need good shoes, good fitness, and good balance. I went just after it rained, so it was slippery and muddy, which made it even more difficult. There's no car park per se, but I parked about 100m from the trail entrance and got charged $100 by some guy to park there. There's a bathroom near the trail entrance, but not thereafter. The hike took me just under 5 hours there and back (a little under 11km), with a few stops for water and snacks. The view at the top was pretty much non-existent, due to the cloudy weather. I'd suggest arriving early to avoid the crowds. I started just before 7am and it was a little crowded, and car park spaces were getting taken quickly.
