★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As mentioned by others, it is a small scenic park to stop at (there is a parking lot) if you are on the road between Taitung and Hualien. The view of the ocean and the mountains is quite nice and there is no entry fee. The whole East coast is lovely, so if you are in a rush, I recommend checking all view points on Google Maps in advance in order to choose which one you would like to visit the most as it is actually a long ride between both cities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely scenic spot! I had a short rest here while during my trip around Taiwan on bicycle 脚踏车环岛. This was one of my favourite scenic spots along the way on a very very long day of cycling between Taitung and the beautiful city of Hualien. Whether you're cycling, driving or travelling by foot, this is a lovely place to rest for a weary traveller (:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only assume that when the weather is better than the view here should be great. Unfortunately, we came on a gloomy and rainy day, so we got to enjoy the sights with umbrellas and flip flops. But was still nice to get outdoors and just walk around a bit and enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean.
