★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 尖山埤，位於台南柳營旭山里山仔腳，日治時期的鹽水港製糖株式會社 (即今日台糖公司前身之一) ，為了供應新營製糖所 (今新營糖廠) 的冷卻用水，攔截龜重溪的一條支流，建造了這座水庫，昭和13年 (1938) 10月完工啟用。
尖山埤，由日本人工程師永野幸之亟負責設計建造，壩體結構為黏土堰堤 (土壩)，溢洪道採無閘門控制之自由溢流道，更是全台灣唯一空庫排砂的水庫。
Jianshanpi is located at the foot of the mountain in Xushanli, Liuying, Tainan. During the Japanese Occupation period, the Saltwater Port Sugar Co., Ltd. (one of the predecessors of today's Taiwan Sugar Company) intercepted Guizhongxi in order to supply cooling water for the Xinying Sugar Plant (now Xinying Sugar Factory) This reservoir was built on a tributary of China, and it was completed and opened in October of Showa 13 (1938).
Jianshanpi was designed and constructed by Japanese engineer Yukichi Nagano. The dam structure is a clay weir (earth dam). The spillway is a free overflow channel without gate control. It is the only reservoir in Taiwan that is empty and discharges sand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 這裡的環境算是清幽，山路圍繞著水庫很好走，怕遊客走路腳酸，還有小火車可以乘坐，其實也不是小火車，只是連結電動車，還是用走的更能體會樹叢裡的風景美。
