Jiaoban Mt. Park

Quite a nice scenic location, loved the valley view. This location is one of Chiang Kai Sheks many houses, which is now used as a small museum with some pictures of him and his family. Under the house is a small war tunnel which is quite interesting The park itself is small but with a breathtaking view. There is a suspension bridge at the bottom however booking to visit is required and we arrived a bit late in the afternoon so didn't get a chance to see. Along the route there is a few small food, vegetables and fruit stands. It's a bit of a drive from Taipei, the area itself isn't that big, and could finish the area up in less than 2 hours, so ideally it is better to also have other locations prepared in the area so you can make it a full day's trip.

Very nice bike ride or drive with family. Bike ride is free and car drive is 80nt... well worth it!!

Jiaobanshan Park, also known as "Fuxing Park", is located on the southwest side of Jiaoban Mountain. It occupies a very wide area. There are dozens of tall maple trees in the park, which are often dazzling red maple in late autumn, attracting people to stop and contemplate. In addition, there are giant ancient pine trees and old plum trees all over the place. Every flowering season, there is a sea of ​​pink and green flowers in the garden, which is very moving. There are two banyan trees planted by Jiang Gong and his wife in the garden. In order to add artistic flavor to Jiaobanshan and connect with world art masters, Taoyuan City Government invited Wu Xuansan and other 12 international masters to create public art works in the park in 1992 (2003 AD), becoming the first world-class museum "Sculpture Park" and public art education garden, because the sculpture works are very creative and integrated into the local landscape, driving the tourism popularity of Jiaoban Mountain.
