距離開船時間之前的10分鐘，先到碼頭遊客中心等開船，站內有洗手間及休息區，也有停車場。
4月的海面，無風無浪，比較不需擔心暈船。
到吉貝觀光一天行程安排而言，最好選擇早上10點前的船班時間，在島上用完午餐再搭船回赤崁碼頭，雖然島上有水上活動，也可以選擇七合一或單項活動，或是在島上散步，沿著沙灘走到沙尾，沙灘的沙質是貝殼沙，赤腳踩著走，感覺特別很舒服。
