★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best stewed beef soup I ever tried in Taipei, light but flavory, served with tender and springy brisket beef or sirloin, really satisfies you especially for those of light taste. Its noodles, on the contrary, tasting even worse than instant noodles, jejune and overly cooked, won't be my choices next time. Curry fried noodles are also recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good beef noodle soup that's unlike traditional Taiwanese soy sauce based beef noodle soup. This soup is a clear pho-like broth and a good change of pace for beef noodle soup. Price is a little higher than normal for the smaller portion but it is still filling.

Ordered a 綜合麵 which is a noodle soup with a variety of beef, tenden, tongue and tripe. Everything that comes with the order is really delicious. The soup especially is flavorful! Some people might find the amount to be on the small side but it's good size for me as I finished every drop of bowl. Yumm...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place that offers more than a bowl of beef noodle. They order freshly butchered beef daily, yes their ingredients are never frozen. Their secret ingredient in the soup base includes many Chinese herbs, which is very Taiwanese as opposed to the more familiar traditional beef noodle soup that holds the flavors from mainland China. The restaurant has more than a hundred years of history and many store locations. We just happened to drive by this one when we’re looking for a place to grab a late lunch. Do try their many other dishes of beef insides. You will not be disappointed.
