This is a very classy, above average traditional Taiwanese braised pork rice. This is 100% the standard version that everyone should try! The braised pork is mainly the skin and fat part of the pork belly, but it would literally melt in your mouth.
The price is cheap. Although there’re a lot of people dining, you don’t have to worry about finding a seat. Their worker helps you carry the food and find seats for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fatty braised pork rice, a selection of sides like innards, braised cabbage, bamboo shoots and tofu. Every dish was well executed especially the braised tofu which was surprising.
Expect a long queue during peak lunch hours but it clears fast.
No reservations and cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious braised pork rice. More fat though and it's on the sweet side.
Fish head has too many fish bones and the meat is dry so I think it's not that good.
Bitter melon and pork soup has clams in it (usually this kind of soup doesn't add clams). So it has a good fresh and sweet kick. But I think they should had cooked it longer since the soup is still light on taste.
Price is REALLY CHEAP. This costed $3 USD only and I was really full!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best 滷肉飯 I've had to date in Taiwan. There is a long line for a reason. Menu includes some fish options which are worth trying. But the main event is 滷肉飯, which they do not skimp on the 滷肉. Flavor is great and I could have easily had two bowls. Can't wait to go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended to us by various locals. Small portions at very low prices which allows you to try out different dishes. The sauce is amazing and the meat melts in the mouth. The vegetables are prepared very well too. This combination goes so well with rice that after you finish one bowl, you just want another one. Even though there are a lot of customers, they have a lot of people working so the wait time is not that long. And after you ordered, they provide seats to eat the food.
