★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious restaurant famed for its 魯肉飯 (braised pork over rice).
This is a busy little place that doesn't look like much but is extremely popular with locals and visitors alike. Expect a wait of between 10 to 30 minutes depending in the size of your group.
The dishes here are excellent. Braised pork over rice of course, but also the soups and vegetables are great, as well as the tofu. You can feast with a friend until you're full for about 225ntd - so the prices are incredibly reasonable.
100% recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read the negative comments but actually find this place clean and services efficient. Prices are reasonable too, given their fame and portion size. Two things really stand out, the foods are flavorful and piping hot. What more do you need? Great if you're dining solo too, as you sometimes get to jump the queue. Love to come back and try other items on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It lived up to expectations. Be prepared to wait in line for a long time if your group is bigger. There is always a queue, they are very popular. The food comes quickly as they are very well staffed and the kitchen moves like a very efficient factory line. Try the side dishes such as bamboo shoots and the braised meat. Thumbs up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap, value for money, good. 105 NT for the below. Braised egg was super tough though but service was extremely fasst and efficient. On the other hand having been here twice now I dont see how this place is drastically different or better than other braised pork rice places either. However still good value and will come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the famous 滷肉飯. This was one of the best I've had so far in Taiwan. The chicken / clam soup was very rich and tasty. Every dish was good. Price is not bad either. 190NTD for everything in the picture. Recommended if you want to try the famous braised pork over rice.
