★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite electronic store in Taiwan. Although I´m a foreigner I have a VIP card since 2008, and I´m very proud to have one.
This store is like the ones we had in my home town in Germany in the later 70´s, but they are almost gone here as only a few people are left who are really in need for electronic components.
At Jin Hua you really can get a lot of electronic components, instruments and tools. To me this is one of the stores with the widest choice in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good selection of tools and components but beware that some components are fakes. I recently bought some "Nichicon" branded capacitors which were confirmed as being fake Chinese replicas. The shops components are probably fine as long as you're not trying to make something that's high quality.

From the window dressing at the storefront (Hako solder rework stations) to the complete stock of electronics components inside, if nerd is in your DNA, you won't be leaving this store in any rush. I always wind up taking pictures of what I want to get on future visits. I've included some in this review for reference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many issues with product quality, seems for the most part the shop stocks itself with the cheapest, likely made in China components they can source, likely as has best markup. If trying to build or work on something of value, this place is more a last resort. Would be alright if stocked both cheap and quality components so had the choice, but likely as space is limited, mostly all cheap poor quality stuff.
