諸羅古城300多年前被荷蘭人統治，留下紅毛井及蘭潭珍貴文化資產及水源地，聖奧德教堂也是由荷蘭神父畢耀遠半世紀前募款興建的宗教藝術教堂，由美籍墨西哥裔藝術家Mr.Francisco Borboa(鮑博)，融合東西方哲學神學思想及藝術，運用馬賽克，彩色玻璃，壓克力，玻璃纖維等各類素材，在教堂內外牆面砌成耶穌被釘十字架，主教神學家聖奧斯定與小孩對話宗教故事，聖家圖像等巨大壁畫，馬賽克教堂是南台灣最美教堂，見證天主教來台傳教史及荷人在嘉歷史故事，留下珍貴西方宗教藝術文化底蘊資產。
Historic Buildings
The ancient city of Zhulu was ruled by the Dutch more than 300 years ago, leaving Hong Maojing and Lantan precious cultural assets and water sources. St. Oder's Church is also a religious art church funded by Dutch priest Bi Yaoyuan half a century ago. Artist Mr.Francisco Borboa, which combines Eastern and Western philosophical theology and art, uses mosaics, stained glass, acrylic, fiberglass and other materials to create Jesus crucifixion on the inside and outside walls of the church. Bishop Theology The family St. Augustine talks with children about religious stories, the image of the Holy Family and other huge murals. The mosaic church is the most beautiful church in South Taiwan. It witnesses the history of Catholic mission to Taiwan and the history of the Dutch people in Jia, leaving precious cultural assets of Western religious art. .
