King Kong Temple is one of the few temples that not only believes in the four-faced Buddha, but also includes the beliefs of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and the three religions. The number of deities enshrined is as many as a thousand, which is rare in Taiwan's palaces and temples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not believe this is not in the brochures as a must see on the north coast. If you have any interest in Temples. You have to stop here its HUGE. And its endlessly packed with stunning statues. One area even has a giant reclined bhudda !
Its also extremely easy to get there:
From Tamsui MRT take bus 863 or 862 get off at the wedding plaza stop. Don't cross the street and walk towards the houses. You will soon see the big statue and you should be walking toward it. Its only about 5 min walk from the bus stop.
