★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some interesting old houses. I liked the ones in the surrounding neighborhood better than the ones on the streets. Not much to eat, and everything shuts down early - around 4pm. Overall, rather disappointing.

The old streets, old style building, food, snack, culture, and ways of living are so interesting and well preserved that you will seem to have a time travel back to early Taiwan. People there are hospitable. The snack madw of brown rice tastes healthy and good. Try visiting this beautiful small town and the delicious traditional food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not as big as you would expect. Very crowded on holidays and everyone is queuing at the hotspots to take pictures. And it close at 5pm. It would be great if there were restaurants tho. Not the best place to go but if you have the time for it, u should go there!
