The Golden Turtle Tower was built by the commander-in-chief Wu Hongluo. Together with Xiyu Xitai and Xiyu Dongtai, it is the most powerful fort in Penghu. The earth wall around the current golden glans head tower, the shelter of the tower, the base of the tower, and the archway at the entrance are all well preserved. When you come here, you can see the words "Tiannan Lock and Key" written on the archway at the entrance, which is an inscription written by Wu Hongluo, the commander of Penghu. A castle-like building that integrates combat, training and living. The military quarters in the park are divided into spaces of different sizes, which have become exhibition spaces. Due to the presence of the National Army Communication Battalion at that time, the tide of the monuments has been reduced, and the appearance of the monuments is completely preserved. Different sergeant models and cannonball models have been added to the park, and combined with the historical campaign display project of the underground tunnel of the Golden Turtle Terrace, the relics can be revitalized and reused. Magong Golden Turtle Tengtai Day, also known as Tiannan Fortress, is one of the top ten fortresses newly built by Liu Mingchuan during the Qing Dynasty. It is now a national historic site. The tail snake head mountain is opposite to the Magong port. The fort was built on the basis of the fort left in the Ming Dynasty. The construction date was the fifty-seventh year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1718 AD). It has a history of more than 300 years. The current camp was built in the thirteenth year of Guangxu. The building structure is made of reinforced concrete, which can be divided into gun bases, outer walls, tunnels, official halls, dome-style barracks, horse roads and other parts. It is a castle-style building that integrates combat, training and living. The inscription "Tiannan Lock and Key" is clearly visible on the fort door at the entrance.
